The newest issue of Bella Scraps (online) Magazine is now available, and it is gorgeous!! I have a FUN little tutorial (and free template) in there with an adorable project. I can't post pics of my project (although I am sorely tempted), so you'll have to just go purchase your own copy!
OR, better yet, win one from ME!! I'd like to give away two copies of the September issue of Bella Scraps Magazine. All you have to do is tell me what kind of hybrid tutorial you would like to see next. As I mentioned recently, I am a new contributor to Bella Scraps, however my brain is totally fried right now and I need some inspiration for the October issue . . . and the deadline is quickly approaching! Anyone have any suggestions?
Post your idea (or just a shout out if your brain is fried, too) for a chance to win one of two copies of Bella Scraps! My random number generator will pick the lucky winners and I will announce them on Saturday.
And, I also wanted to show you one of my newer products that I just uploaded to The Hybrid Shoppe last week.

Click here to see it in the store.
I found some name badge holders at the Dollar Tree, and I just HAD to make a template for a mini album! Think of the name badge holders as little page protectors. So cute! And, here is what Jen Tapler (my marvelous Creative Team) created with my template:

And (I'm almost done) The Hybrid Shoppe is having a Grand Opening celebration complete with giveaways for 3 lucky customers! Just place an order on the site by Friday night and your name will be entered into the drawing!

Ooohhh...I would love to see paper ornaments or those mint tin ablums for Christmas gifts! Some kind of teacher gifts for Christmas would be great too...maybe sour cream containers with yummy candy inside...or paint cans filled with goodies. Or advent calenders!! Can you tell I have Christmas on the brain already?? :) LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat about trick or treat bags? Some kind of image/iron on onto cheap canvas bags.
ReplyDeleteI have not done much hybrid scrapping, so I guess you would say I am a newbie.. So I would love to see some basic stuff.. type of printer needed, what paper is best to print with or photo paper. Simply put the basics of starting..
ReplyDeleteI would like to know how to print on both sides of the paper so you don't have to glue pages together.
ReplyDeleteI love the ideas that have already been posted, but I would love a hybrid project that is stupidly simple and easy to understand and accomplish that doesn't take any certain brand (like those bracket albums and such...money is tight!)....and I would need very specific instruction...I have never done hybrid really :)
ReplyDeletei would like something about making some stunning papers for the kids school-books to wrap around them ...
ReplyDeleteoooh! I would so love to win! I haven't ever had a copy before! :)
ReplyDeleteI want to see a tutorial for iron on's for little onesies! I know it's supposed to be easy, but I am so dense! LOL! I would love to see that completely spelled out for me! Thank you so much for the chance Kelleigh!
I would love to see a good tut for Pop-up cards!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to do a waterfall card.
ReplyDeleteBut the most useful TUT for me would be how to get the most out of printing a sheet of card that gives no waste... I always seem to have loads of waste paper left over when I do any hybrid project.
Thanks for asking
;=)

Kids are back to school and sometimes it annoys me to find pencils and markers under the bed or sofa so how about a pen holder? Another thing that comes to mind is Monogram which would be perfect to display in the bedroom. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win the mag. This month's issue looks fun and the goodies are to die for!
I would love to see anything that would be great for semi-mass productions (like 15 or so) for Christmas gifts. Even an older idea that's just jazzed up a bit. I spend so much time trying to think up something like this, that I waste all the time to DO the project!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you come up with!
I swear Kelleigh, you are going to inspire me to try some hybrid yet! Your TDC blog posts are so fabulous! I second the idea of the mint tins tutorial - I have seen them & they look so awesome, but I would need some really simple & "hand-holding" instructions to try one :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and big congrats on The Hybrid Shoppe too!
ReplyDeleteHow about treat bag toppers...or the paper lumieres that are so popular lately...love the hybrid onesies idea too, suggested by someone e4ls!

I had another idea...what about decorations for the Thanksgiving table...maybe place cards...napkin holders...some kind of centerpiece?? I would love to do something like this if I had step by step instructions!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to see anything about Advent Calender for childrens.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's getting to be the season. How about some cute Christmas ornament ideas or trick or treat bags?
ReplyDeleteThis is super cool.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a tutorial on how to make more home decor items!
what about paper pumpkins? 3d ones? or Game cards to be printed front and back - we had an idea to create out own card games with our family pics on them for Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteWhat about a photo tile? I think that could be very cool and a great way to display a layout, other then printing and framing! Or how about a canvas? I am just getting into hybrid and am so excited how fun and easy it can be!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see some type of creative way to creative a photo family tree. Some type of actual tree that you can include cute photos on order of generations and leaves, trees, other cute digital elements. I've wanted to do something like this but don't have any feasible idea on how to pull it off yet.
ReplyDeleteoooh...look...I'm famous!!! :-) You need to update this blog by the way...I think you have some news to post.
